When she first appeared on the scene, we were duped into believing that Jem was an edgy, slightly alternative young singer who had one foot on the coffee table but another in the hip dance scene. Wish I, the cheery, nursery-rhyme soundtrack to Celebrity Love Island, is the final nail in that marketing myth's coffin. This is the Dido equivalent of The Vengaboys' We're Going To Ibiza, a bland summertime ditty with about as much substance as a gnat's fart. Utter drivel.
