Having quietly garnered plaudits for her debut LP Let It Die, Canadian singer-songwriter Feist kicks off 2005 with this soft and slinky cover of the Bee Gees disco classic. Her rendition is endearingly kitsch, tinted with a retro production vibe and decorated with some sweetly understated grooviness. The most impressive part of the package is her voice, though - possessed of a natural and controlled looseness, it's entirely captivating.
