Norwegian New Wave trio A-ha haven't stopped slogging away since their Eighties heyday, although new album Analogue, from which this single is taken, has the feel of a comeback thanks to some particularly eager marketing. Morten Harket's unmistakable vocals can't fail to taint the song with a dated Eighties vibe, and although the glossy Bryan Adams-esque chorus attempts something akin to "contemporary", the end result is a little underwhelming. Still, the production is polished and the musicianship as accomplished as you'd expect from such old hands, so fans are unlikely to be disappointed. Expect another surge of press interest around the film release of The Da Vinci Code, for which A-ha have provided the track Celice.
