Without The Beatles, modern pop music as we know it wouldn’t exist and when you listen to their re-mastered albums, imagine that so much of it was beyond anything that any of their audience would have heard before, from the pure pop rush of the early songs to the psychedelia of Strawberry Fields Forever. Anyone who says that they just don’t get the Beatles is basically either a) a liar or b) a fool.
