What has pink skin, a head like ET and two protruding teeth that make ukulele-King George Formby look like he's had cosmetic dentistry? The naked mole-rat!
Weighing in at just 30 grams, this tiny little burrowing rodent is a native of East Africa and lives underground using its two front teeth as a shovel.
Due to its timidity, it rarely shows its face above ground. If we were that ugly, no doubt we'd keep hidden too!
