Orange and Vodaphone to sell iPhone
Orange and Vodaphone have announced they are to sell the iPhone, ending Apple's exclusive deal with the O2 network which, since 2007, has been the only provider of the handset.
The networks said their customers would be able to purchase the iPhone later this year, but gave no exact date or price.
O2 will continue to sell the phone alongside Orange and Vodaphone in Britain.
Apple unveiled its new iPhone 3G S in June, the fastest and most powerful model in the iPhone family.
We admit we have been sceptical in the past but on hearing its new and improved functions, we are truly convinced of its genius.
